Patch, the review of CECN2, is a magazine focused on the numerous relationships between technology and the performing arts field.
The review is named Patch in reference to computer programs used by artists and to the many connections which it is intended to establish. Above and beyond the projects backed by CECN2, the publication’s structure includes recurring sections (portrait, carte blanche, portfolio…) and a special report.
Patch offers an in-depth analysis on an aspect of contemporary productions by specialized writers. The “biosphere” section reports on questions relating to sustainable development in artistic practices.
The editorial approach is founded on the analysis and practical perspective of the production process. Accordingly, special attention is given to the publication of unpublished archives and unreleased visual documents.
In addition to the feature section, “CECN2 news” outlines the training programs, residencies and events of CECN2 in a concise, readable format, allowing for easy access.
Patch is a biannual, bilingual review widely distributed to professionals.
